Late to the party here, but octopus is a chewy meat.

Not the gross chewy though. I had squid and calamari before, they were really nice. Never had octopus though.

If you've had squid, you've more or less have had octopus.

They're very similar in consistency. It's a chewy meat, but not like....gum chewy, but it's also not exactly tough like overcooked steak. That is...if it's cooked proper.

You put yourself on such a high Pedestal it's really hard not too.... In saying that you need to not flame others with your comments... Which are often very flame bait and contradicting.
