I started playing Runescape after a friend showed me the game at school, I was about 11 years-old I think and I've been playing since then, on and off but mostly on during the past years ahah!
It's nice to all of you guys story on how you started playing the game!
I started way back in 2001. I remember logging in over school lunchtime via miniclip to fish sharks and listen to limp bizkit. Those were the days.... I even remember opening seeing pumpkins all over the halloween event - if only I didn't eat them.
Strangely, I still really enjoy playing OSRS - the nostalgia factor makes it even better!
Just a kinda fun-guy. Guess that makes me a mushroom.
I played other games, but TBH I grew tired of them pretty quickly. Too much P2W, and not enough interest in actually making a decent, immersive game. Pump-and-dump garbage games with flashy graphics but lousy gameplay do not impress me.
One day I was checking out random gaming vids on YT, when I saw one from a streamer talking about some game called RS3. From what I saw, I thought it looked a little old-school, but still kind of fun. So I created this character.
Her backstory is she has no backstory - at least not one she can recall. A few fragments of her forgotten memory have surfaced, as she has followed clues which have taken her from the island of Ashdale (where she encountered a mysterious ghost lady) to the Chaos Altar in The Wilderness (where an invasion of demons hellbent on destroying her was prevented - by a demon).
Kat's journey, along with her achievements, are documented in her Diary, found in the G&A subforum. Yes, that would be a link in my signature.
I've been putting out fire with gasoline!
