Hello, I have a problem with the free to play Runescape map. The names of places on the maps would not appear, for example Varrock, Falador, Lumbridge. I was wondering if I had disabled a setting by mistake.

F2P, since RuneScape became 'P2P - we pay we say' ... they downgraded F2P to being a demo. A lot of support for F2P was erased for not being in the spotlights.
There's an other downside, the smaller your worldmap ... some notification will be moved to the background to make it still 'readable/viewable' when other notifications are being selected/visible.
See if it works? You may want to save your current layout to one of the custom layout presets before you load the Default, so you can revert it back to your current preferred layout.
Sounds like a possible bug to me... I'm going to report it in-game as such, and suggest you do too
Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?

There are others that don't show either like lodestones and fairy rings. If it is supposed to be this way, then the bug is that they still show in the navigation panel on the left. They should be removed from there.

It is still a bug that they show up in the navigation panel on the left when they don't work. There shouldn't be options in the game that don't work. They should be removed in F2P.
