That sounds weird! Any chance you are playing in a very populated area (e.g. W84 Lumbridge or similar)? If a lot is happening on your screen it is certainly possible to miss the pumpkins. They do not appear for that long either!

They need to make the pumpkins more visible in crowded areas. Like add a loot beam and make pumpkins appear prioritized over other players standing in that spot. I've noticed this issue in w84 lumby. All the piles of ppl hide my pumpkins.
