ive tried everything i can think of to reach a jagex mod, it is ridiculous that they give no way to reach them as far as i can think of, and it occurs to me that i have a brother in law that is a cop, and the text on their contact us page, it says "If you are a governmental Law Enforcement agency in need of further assistance then please use: [email protected]", im wondering if my brother in law, a deputy sheriff, could get some answers for me from them, all i need is a little communication, for them to talk with me for even a few minutes, that takes nothing. i need to speak with a jagex moderator, please.

What are you needing to speak to Jagex about?

The [email protected] is for specific legal uses, and I would not recommend that your brother-in-law attempt to use it outside of that context. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;

That address is ONLY for official law enforcement use, e.g. queries about potential real life threats, harrassment, child molestation/grooming and suchlike.

It is not to be used for general queries, complaints or "a little communication".

If you could give us some idea of what your issue involves, we can suggest where (on these forums or other social media) you would have the best chance of attracting a JMod's attention.

i was banned for botting but i NEVER bot, i wont get into all the details because it might be seen as trying to appeal a ban on the forum, and that isnt my intention, i want to know what made them think i botting, i cant get a reply to the letters i sent to england on the matter as the terms and conditions say a player can. if im wrong, ok, let me know, but it could be that rogue mod they had to let go, who knows? before it was a temporary ban, but the message said if i was banned again it would be permanent, i have too much i worked for on my account to lose to a permanent ban for something i NEVER do, it doesnt help that i fixate on this issue(and others, its an autistic thing), its gnawing at me like a mouse we had in our walls(off subject, if anyone needs a good way to deal with those, let me know) i need to speak with a jagex moderator, please.

the only way to contact jagex about this is through the appeal section

using your brother to use "law" contact for this would be very silly and not helpful at all as your brother would not be using that contact correctly.

Hello there. I locked your thread way back on 16th January 2023 for the same thing.

Sadly you can't appeal Bot bans via the forums.

Also you can't use your Brother-in-law to use his powers to contact Jagex over this as it's an abuse of the System Jagex have in place.

The Law E-Mail address is to only be used if the issue follows Jagex Guidelines set out for the Law Enforcement terms and conditions. Any thing else Jagex will ignore it and not reply.

I've now locked this as again you are trying to use the Forums to appeal a Ban for a suspected botted account. Comprehensive Account Security
