I got mine on kill 39 I've heard of some going to 94. Would be nice if they'd tell us the threshold number for the bad luck to finish a quest.

I believe I've got mine on Kill No.: 5 or 6. It's pretty random. Some will get on first try, and others will take longer. I would suggest teaming up with someone to lessen the amount of time spent trying to get it. That's what I did. :P

After the bad luck mitigation update, I think most players got it under 30 or 40 kills.

There is still RNG involved though so some may still need to kill 50. While we can't beat RNGesus, we can improve our chances or at get the more rewards out of the same chance against him.

Somebody has already suggested we can group to reduce time required for a kill. I will also suggest making use of the Thok's event buffs to pick Harmod as our Reaper assignments. We get double Reaper points and maybe the Luck 4 buff can makes a difference too.

well, got mine in 61 kills, but then the quest started to get some serious bugs, after talking to lady grey the drummer appeared, but i couldnt talk to it, and talking with lady grey also didnt do anything.

Relogging didnt work, and now i've destroyed the drums, in the hope to reclaim them, and maybe that would trigger the quest to work. However i cant retrieve them back from lady grey, and now i just cant complete this quest anymore...

Anyone ideas? do i have to kill that stupid boss for 60 kills more now?

And jagex, please test your quests before releasing them. this is so frustrating, that this bug occurs 2 months after release.

You can reclaim the Animated Drumsticks from Lady Grey according to the RS Wiki:

"Destroy You can reclaim these from Lady Grey in the City of Um."

The option to get them back from lady grey does not exist. (at least not by me) which is part of the bug that makes it impossible to complete the quest.

I checked the wiki before i destroyed them, so i would know where to reclaim them.
