Personal opinion,

All the new graphics and designs look so Disney its sickening.

Feels as though Mickey will be just around the next corner.

The majority of the player bases is more or less adults. Give us some blood and gore. Give us something to enjoy. These soft edges and poor excuses for graphical updates are for children.

At least give players the option to opt in or out of adult content. but my goodness this "fresh Look" is feeling rather Old!

I would like to say that these new graphics were original or %100 Jagex. But, I cannot with certainty, as the majority of the artwork I see looks as though its something straight from Disney.

All I'm saying is give us something really new, graphically. Please. END RANT.

I find a lot of the recent graphical updates to be great improvements on what was once there.

However, more blood and gore would be great, if it's relevant to the environmental setting of the area. The whole world map doesn't need to be covered in blood.

It will be great in the future when Disney is inspired by the great Overworld and Underworld Refreshes in RS3 and put Fort Forinthry, City of Um and other remastered RS3 landmarks in their RS3 Town.

Don't forget Disney owns the Star Wars IP, and of course its modern VFX graphics. Modern Disney graphics of their modern IP are not what kids 15 years ago think. RS3 graphics in Disney can look pretty cool to 2023 consumers too who are immersed in a Galaxy, far, far away.

Original message details are unavailable.
how is it disney?

I rather call it Fortnite-like in graphics: most of the details are in the textures.
The ground used to have actual blades of grass sticking out and rocks lying about (if you toggled it on), now the grass* and rocks are drawn on the texture on a perfectly smooth surface.
Don't get me wrong, for some stuff it can work (like for example in Star Wars The Clone Wars with painted-like textures), but I'm not so much a fan of it in RS either. I'd like to see more polygons for the details...

Some stuff also looks a bit too smooth (like big rocks and rocky structures) and unnatural.

*Since some recent graphical updates the blades of grass seemed to have returned in an upgraded fashion.

Someday this maybe another RS3 Remastered project for Mod Blkwitch et al:

Then Disney will negotiate for a license to use the RS3 IP in their Magic Kingdom promotions, after we get fireworks VFX in RS3:
