So many Jagex employees working on OSRS now? Hmm... if we look at the likes of Mod Surma, who still work on creating music for all departments of Jagex and not OSRS, we should know not everyone OSRS put on the "OSRS Team" list is exclusively working on OSRS only.

OSRS doesn't have many actual content developer if we look at their "roster", and apparently they like RS3 content a lot and they talked a lot of copying RS3 content in the 2023 OSRS Annual Survey. It is not surprising if they desperately need to put RS3 content they actually love in OSRS.

This seems quite concerning. I feel like the RS3 Mod Team will continue to slowly dwindle until Jagex makes an announcement removing RS3.

I mean, it is a business after all. OSRS seems to be more popular. Thankfully Treasure Hunter is around. I am sure they receive a lot of business from Treasure Hunter & Solomon's Store. That might incentivize them to continue creating new content for RS3.

It seems that Jagex is fully focused on OSRS, as it really seems to be Jagex's forever game, more and more mods with no sign of slowing down. That's not to say there haven't been mods quitting, but overall it's a steady increase.

And no, Mod Shogun is fully focused on OSRS.

Jmods that work on music are obviously not going to be beholden to any one game or project. Just like the artists that make promotional images.

More importantly, why is RS3 losing a content developer behind the smithing rework? Will OSRS get some of those ninja fixes that RS3 has been lacking in, lately?

It really does feel like RS3 is in maintenance mode.

We do see plenty of "new" mods joining the RS3 team the past year, with many like Mods Pigeon, Fowl etc showing up on livestreams. We can also see many new Jmods on the RS3 Necromancy Team.

Staffing is not a concern for RS3, but looking a little closer, many of the "new" Jmods actually came from defunct Jagex projects. So, Jagex haven't been hiring for their RS3 and OSRS projects for quite a while. New hires are going to their new projects and not RS3 and OSRS...if this fact "concerns" you.

What made you think Jagex is "fully focused on OSRS" when we have seen plenty of RS3 Jmods showing us what they are working on for RS3?

When Jagex talked abouty Forever Games, they talked about Runecape and they referenced SCUM, neither of them remoted has anything to do with OSRS.

"More and more mods"? We have more and more mods on RS3 projects too. I have already mentioned it. Good that you also seemed to agreed with me many Jmods OSRS put on "The OSRS Team" aren't exclusively working for OSRS. How hard is it to see just merely one Mod Shogun trying to help out OSRS on copying RS3 content doesn't mean a thing?

You should try reading the writing on the wall instead of building walls no one wants to read. This thread isn't about SCUM, take your derail bait somewhere else.

SCUM is another Jagex Forever Games they officially talked about through Press Release. It absolutely shattered your claim Jagex only focused on OSRS as their Forever Game.

I never claimed OSRS was their only forever game. You're arguing against claims that haven't been made. And missing the point.

CONTENT DEVELOPERS are LEAVING RS3. What future updates are we looking forward to in RS3's 2024?
