I feel I need to clarify another point before we're done.. I know I made it clear that I was upset with Tera for the actions she took when we were leading Lost Souls.. But honestly, if I saw her now I think I would hand her a bouquet of roses!
Her actions forced us to take a hard look at what we intended to achieve as a Runescape clan.. We still consider ourselves "Soul Wars oriented," because that minigame has shaped our abilities as players.. It's where we came from.
But we are radically different as a clan today.. We still play Soul Wars from time to time, but we don't try to hog a world, or try to push other clans out of theirs.
We allow any level to play with us in any activity where they can keep up.. We even have free to play members, and some of our guys regularly go to play with them and have fun in free to play worlds.. It's even funny to see them scratching around trying to find F2P armor to wear.
When I log into Ardent Souls, it's like a dream come true for me.. I see all levels, all genders, boys, girls, new players, old players all having fun and getting along together.. Guests who visit us are often silent for some minutes taking it all in.
This is what I have been saying about the Spirit of the Runescape Community.. It's more than just a game--it's a part of our lives too, joking aside.. Why shouldn't any aspect of the game we love to play be pleasant and enjoyable for us.
And yes, Tera, I'm serious about the roses...
