I see clan after clan abandoning Soul Wars for other venues, due to the drama, arguing, and ill feelings.. We Ardents left some time ago.
The old alliances are dead, and the alliance system itself is a failure.. It never succeeded in bringing any degree of stability to the clan worlds as was intended by the old World Alliance.
The birth of the clan citadels with their grand meeting halls gives rise to a new idea.. The alliances should be replaced by a general council of clan leaders meeting in the halls.
It makes sense, but I doubt if we can stop arguing long enough to put it in place.

We need to look forward to the bright future, and not backward to the crazy past -- it's more to our credit if we do that.
I wish I could take credit for the council idea, but it has been put forward or suggested by others a number of times previously.
It just seems to make sense now..

Well now, dear friend, if you have been reading the thread, our history is there.
To summarize: When the "born again" group assumed control of W2ls, the clan split into two groups -- those who favored SWA and those of us who were allied with Obbys/WA.
It was not really possible to separate ourselves from WA at the time because our people had been cross-ranked with Obbys allied clans, and WA people were ranked in our tactical cc LSouls.. You have Kingsantiag0 to thank for this.
FA Marc and Brucelee1231 were ranked as well, and our leaders were ranked in Marc's clan and we frequently fought with them.. Marc is an Ardent now too, he and Bruce are still ranked as generals in our war cc "Ardent Army."
You haven't heard of us because we separated ourselves from Soul Wars which had left such a bad aftertaste with our leaders.
When we went after SWA it was through the clans DUSTYDEVILS and xxalivexx, our secret allies, where we were all ranked as generals.
It was puzzling to our adversaries how these two non-descript clans could suddenly come alive and begin to win game after game forcing allies to be called in.. But the reason should be clear now.
As evidence, "Alives Army," the xxalivexx war cc is an Ardent now too.. If you go to xxalivexx's website you'll see my name there as well.. Nobody knew we had a website.. My motto is: "I try to be unnoticed, and I usually succeed."
