Ds was around before obvys were. We saw you form your clan. To say you helped us because we were allies is a relative lie as ds long ago could have chosen obbys to die before they even truly started. Obbys do not remember the past, because they do no want to admit the unspoken debt. Obbys should not have pretended they were the dominant clan on w44 then as they wouldn't exist I'd it hadn't been for ds. If ds had warred obbys before the great incident it would be obbys closed now not ds. No one wants to remember how powerful ds was. King knows it. He saw our clan filled up. Ds was a clan of friendship. So was obbys. They became something else though. They may still be friends but their goal chamged from alliance to dominance.

Well, they are. They could've chosen to run off to swa alliance as well, and forsake the rest of the w/a alliance when both of your clans were fighting, they could've chosen to abandon us, then we would be talking about how they were the traitors, but they didn't. We can clearly see who the "bigger" clan is in the same respect as how we say the bigger person.
And if you were so great, then you'd still be on world 44, but alas, you're not. I don't blame DS as a whole for what happened, I blame their pathetic leaders who were simply looking for an excuse to get out. I appreciate ds for all they've done for us on 143, but at the same time, their leaders were weak. I blame not the members for their loyalty to their clan and not the alliance, I blame the leaders for feeding the members a bunch of crap because they weren't patient enough to try diplomacy. They allied with mms and went against the W/a rules because they were trying to start a conflict, they just needed a reason. In the end, their clan suffered for their impatience, and I'm sorry ds had to deal with it.

The point I was making is Ds was older, and did a lot of work to build up to it's prime. It was probably the most powerful clan. I'm just saying Ds was older and that gave Ds more time to do things before other clans did. Only clan that still kind of exists that is older is xxdeath. That's another story entirely.

That position was originally Ds. I was referring to the point where Ds still had dominant power.

As a Leader of the Obbys, and thereof the WA -- I can truthfully say in our times of conflict I didn't look at or care who out of our alliances, (Whether that be Doom, Reapers, DS, Etc.) was dominant.
The conflicts with Swa created an "Us Vs. Them" Mentality which caused me to ask myself "Which ALLIANCE is stronger?", not "Which CLAN is stronger?"
Only in our personal conflicts did I consider the latter -- and after w143 started being camped, I never did.
I think if more people had that view things would have turned out a lot better,
Hindsight is always 20/20 I suppose.

So what's the end result of all of this? Do we just agree to disagree, come to some accord, or just keep arguing?
Our Lost Souls founder, Tera, said that the purpose of having a "World Alliance" was to bring some order to the game, and secure a peace between the clans.
But because of the deeds of some individuals, all that was dumped into the dust bin of Soul Wars history.. The leadership of such an alliance must clearly be dedicated to diplomacy rather than confrontation.
That was my purpose in backing the leadership of SWL, Em- and JemShady08, because I saw they had the diplomatic talent to lead a diverse band of players, and bring people together.
The only solution, in my view, is to back leadership which is dedicated to cooperation, not confrontation.. We've already proven we can create a war.. Can we create a peace as easily?
Sooooo, IT King what next?

In the prologue to another RPG game is this quote from a German Philosopher:
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster... When you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss also gazes into you."
Perhaps we have all been fighting monsters for too long.. Fresh air, anyone?
