Hi there!! First, I want to thank you for having such amazing sheets available for us to use. However, I am having an issue with our clan capping tracker. when I ran it the 1st time, it showed everyone who had visited and/or capped without any trouble. As of yesterday, 3 of our members are not showing up as having visited OR capped. Their XP will update just fine, but no capping info. These people were previously shown as having capped/visited so why its not showing now is a mystery.

Also, none of these players have their profiles hidden (I even asked to be sure,) so I dont see a reason why only a couple of people aren't working when they were previously. I also started from scratch and made a new copy of the sheet just in case I messed up something, but still the same result with the same people.

What am I doing wrong to cause this? I am not doing anything fancy with the scripts because it's not something I am terribly great at so I dont want to mess around with what's already plugged in. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

Hi Miradelle,
I can't be absolutley sure without seeing the sheets and players data.
But I think it must be that the capping data has been written over in their adventure log.
If the players boss a lot or perform skills or quests that report to the adventure log, then the data could have been over written. The Adventure log only holds 20 statements, which automatically get over written with each new item logged.
It could also be a players adv log setting turned off reporting such items.
If you can look at the affected players adventure logs via runemetrics, that might shed more light upon the problem.
This is why some clans set up the sheets to auto collect the data each day, but it isnt perfect. Unfortunately we are only scrapping data from a constantly changing data stream.
I don't think you are doing anything wrong, and is why the data collection sheet stores each set of data seperately on the "Query capped data" tab, with the date.
That is where the query 'start and end' sort date is usefull, to pick out all those capped over the week.
Hope this helps you understand more about how this sheet works.
:)

Hi Robb Stark,
There are two sheets clans tend to use for citadel and points awarded. They can be found on my google site, where you can make yourself a copy if you want them as a starter sheet or to use as it is. I would post links, but this forum forbids external links.

Search "
runescapeassistsheets
" or and "
/runescape-clan-assist-sheets
"

"
Runescape demo of Citadel Capping scanner and tracker
" with a yearly manual event tracker.
and
"
Runescape demo of clan ranks by points PLUS
"

You may find something useful there, and each sheet has instructions to get you going.
It also outlines why the citadel capping data is not that easy to gather automatically or from those with accounts set to private.

Best of luck
;)
Oh bye the way - discord bots may have something, I know they have a thread here too. But I won't touch that site myself, but you might find it more helpful?

Hi vlumondoxa, Sorry for the late reply. I have been very busy with real life lately.
However, I did look at your question and I found out the problem.
Immortilized Wolves is actually spelt with an "L" and not an "I".
I tried this on a copy of the clan points plus sheet, and it worked fine with "Lmmortalized Wolves" (all lowercase)
Later when I checked again the L was an "i" : I think this might be a missmatch of character sets between the websites?

I have a copy that works anyway, I could email it to you if needed.

Hope this helps
:)

I love your Clan EXP spreadsheet and was curious if the same thing would be possible for "time spent in clan"

Rather than inputting exp, you input "days" and the script reads join dates of players and you create a ranking structure around this.

Hi Enigmatology, I'm not sure which sheet you are referring to, but its probably
"
Runescape demo of clan ranks by xp
"
Which would be difficult to achieve because of the constant name changes, bans and joining and leaving. And that sheet is auto, and could not perform these random acts with out massive errors.
The only sheet that does do this from memory is the
"
Runescape demo of clan ranks by points PLUS
"
Which relies on manual user interaction on the
Added points
TAB.
You could add an extra sheet to your copy, and add those in or better still copy the points sheet and just use it for the days in the clan if you have an admin in your clan to keep it up to date I guess?

However, I will give it some thoughts over the next few days, a light bulb may light up?!

Could you confirm which sheet you are referring too. ;)
