Hi ZBUG, of course you can scrape data from a google sheet, but I think you may need to make the data into a table format, as thats what most of the web code uses for data transfer.
Or better still download the data directly from the runescape API.
However, I'm not an HTML coder so I'm not the right person to ask.
I'm sure there are data scraping apps that might be useful?
Personally I think I would use another google sheet, or a google website to import the data I needed. But I find the shared sheets give the info in a format I like.
Let me know if you have any success in this area.
Just found your points sheet which looks very useful it says its by XP to earn points but we use citadel caps recruitment bumping thread etc... For points to there a way to do this with that sheet
Hi Werewolf, If you copy yourself the sheet named
"
Runescape demo of clan ranks by points PLUS (With Script)
"
for example you could set the '
base points from xp
' to zero, (on the "
settings manual input
" tab.)
Then you could assign points for capping etc on the "
added points"
sheet.
This would cause a Div by zero error on columns G - H - Q - R on the "
Current tab
", but you could just overmark those columns, right click and hide them I guess. I case you decide to add the clan xp at some later date.
Any problems or suggestions, please post here or pm in game.
All these sheets are basic starter sheets to get you going, many folk add and change things about to suit their clan.
Addition
: there was also a clan
"event tracker"
tab added to the following sheet that might be of interest too.

Hi Mc Theman,
We used to be able too several years ago, there was a true or false flag. But that data was removed from the query results. The only additional data added to the query string data, was who had the jack of trades title. Kindoff useles and pointless.
But I agree and understand from many clan leaders that this ftp feature would be useful.
The only way at the moment is to physically look at the clan mates on the clanmates list via the rs website.
Many clan leaders now use the inactive recorder sheet, together with the dead account sheet to determin who may have left the game. But there seems to be no other way to tell who maybe ftp automatically any more.
Apart from one clever leader insisting that all new members have an avatar picture taken, instead of the std starting ftp grey helmet. This was to dig out any starting ftp, but is not a complete fix if a player was a member and then went ftp later.
HI Mc Theman,
There is some data that you can download from the runescape API, such as quests started, completed or not started as a number.
Plus a players quest data, list of quests, quest status, difficulty and points rewards and eligibility to start a quest.
So in essance YES there is the capability, but as the data is
not available if the players view status is set to private
, I see little point in providing something that runemetrics already supplies. Unless you have something specific in mind?
