Once your Citadel has become dilapidated, you just need to meet your usual upkeep in order to save it and regain access to your clan's Avatars. Your clanmates need to be aware that if you fail to meet upkeep during consecutive weeks, you will lose a tier of your Citadel.

Our clan met upkeep and had first ava set to build all throughout the first week. Following week, avatars still at 0% and the stone says our clan is still dilapidated. Help?

If you are 100% sure that you did meet upkeep, and that the citadel has ticked ? ( everything wouldn't repair as soon as you meet upkeep - you need to have gone through the build tick for it to show as un-dilapidated)

I know this sounds like a dumb question, because of course you did. But are you sure ? The situation with the avatars at 0% and still been dilapidated suggests otherwise.

Do you have any other upgrades listed, that might have had a higher build priority than the avatar habitat ? This wouldn't explain the dilapidation, but it would explain why you didn't have any resources allocated to the avatar. EG if you had a citadel upgrade scheduled above the avatar, that also requires a visitor count , so unless you also met that, the resources would be lost.

It seems as if someone queued for t2 citadel and then queued for the clan ava right underneath.

So since they're both selected to build, that would ofc mean that we have to meet upkeep as well as any resource costs for BOTH of them to be built? And if we didn't meet resources for both in that given week, we'd inturn have nothing built?

Just clarification, believe this to be the problem.

No, you don't need to build them both just because they are both on the build list.

Resources will only go towards the first one listed until they are full., so in your case, the citadel upgrade. Because the citadel also requires a visitor count ( you need 7 visitors in each week that you have the citadel upgrade T1 - T 2 ordered) , if you didn't meet the count then the upgrade resources allocated will be lost completely.

If this is what has happened, then you can solve the problem by either -

1) Moving the avatar upgrade above the citadel upgrade on your build list , to build this first
2) Move the avatar upgrade above the citadel upgrade if in any week you don't meet the visitor count for the citadel upgrade - the resources for that week will then be allocated to the avatar not the citadel, but you will keep any previous weeks.

If it is the visitor count that means you didn't get any upgrade built, this wouldn't explain dilapidation, which will only occur if you didn't meet the minimum 5 visitors required for upkeep.

Please help. My citadel has become dilapidated after clan problems and disinterest. From being a t5 Citadel, it now has the mine, the furnace and the kiln at t1. Since the tick, these have remained at t1 despite me getting a huge number of resources for them (except for the kiln obviously as I can’t get ore at t1). There are 5 of us in the clan; do I need to have 10 members to move to tier 2, 15 to move to tier 3 etc?

Hi Esme,

You should be able to upgrade to T2 if you have 5 members, and you will need to have 5 visitors a week to maintain the upkeep, and additional people to move up the tiers -

7 People to get to T3,
12 to get T4
15 for T5
20 to get T6
25 people to get to T7.


Make sure that you did add the upgrades to your build list, they don't just happen automatically, and your citadel will need to show as T2 before you can build the plots to T2.
