Stepping in to ask a question, not sure if there will be a response as the last post was nearly a year ago.

What is the policy for reapplication if the applicant failed to properly state that he was leaving in the past? More directly, am I free to reapply to the Caped Carousers if I meet the rest of the posted requirements? Following
Zaros
to the end - even if, in his wisdom, he betrays me.

I usually allow members one free instance of missing a Sweep. This instance isn't considered 'used up' if the person's reason for disappearing without warning is unavoidable or very serious.

Your status if you were to reapply would be that of someone who has missed one Sweep, i.e. you are eligible to be readmitted this time, but you wouldn't be the next time you missed one without good reason.

If there was an unavoidable reason for your not responding to the Sweep last time, you may be entitled to be readmitted with your free instance still available; please let me know if you want to supply such a reason.

GREEETINGS! To my Dearest Carousers,
it is with the deepest of respect and regret that i am tendering my resignation to the Carousers at this time. i LOVE this Clan, it's ideals, leaderships, members, humour, and most of all the people--so many of which i've grown to love over the years! do remember what an extraordinary, and rare group you are. i cannot possibly thank you, Archaeox, Isi, and Lumine, anywhere near enough for your leadership, guidance, kindnesses, admonishments, tolerance, patience, and most endearing humour! i genuinely love and appreciate it!

the journey that began for me back in Dec/Jan of 2000/01 is sadly coming to a close as a result of changes to the multiplayer aspects within the game structure and the over-commercialisation of game-changing enhancements. i joined up 14 years ago, while searching for an open (public) MUD, to do quests and skills WITH other players across the globe. it's no longer fulfilling to me in the aspects that i searched for or that kept me playing for so many enjoyable years.

i am tremendously grateful for the *numerous* AWESOME friends, and even my lovely, amazing, spouse that i've met through the game. it is with the highest hopes of continuing as many of those relationshsips as possible that i post this farewell to The Game of Runescape. [more in clan forum post]

Perhaps you could get a mod to move it for you?

I don't meet to pry in another clan's thread, but this thread is correctly placed.

Clan Home is for discussion threads, typically threads where the only posters are members of that clan. Clan Central allows threads where the goal is inter-clan communications, (communications between multiple clans) which is the intention of this thread.

"With the closure of our Home thread, there's nowhere for non-Carousers to post who want to communicate with us on inter-clan matters."


Though while I'm here, just thought I'd say hello to the Caped Carousers from NSNS so I don't feel too awkward about making a response here :) ~ Sicariu
