Firstly, our group uses the Friends Chat facility rather than the Clan Chat system. That is to allow users to simultaneously belong to a more general clan, while still being able to interact regularly with players who specifically play the same way as they do (free to play ironman).

It does however operate in a similar way to a clan rather than in the ‘drop in/drop out’ way that D&D FCs operate. We have a large number of FC regulars who are in the FC all the time that they are online, we organise events and we have offsite forums. There are 60 plus accounts registered on our offsite forums, which represents just a small proportion of the players who consistently frequent the FC. (A Google search for the obvious should turn it up. The memberlist there is viewable without having to register.)

The FC is active 24/7, with an estimated average of around 20 players in it at any one time.

We do not have ‘membership’ as such, as the chat is open to anyone, though we have a team of 16 ranked FC moderators and a large player base of regulars many of who treat the FC as their ‘clan’. We used to give ranks to all the regulars, but soon hit the maximum f2p number limit of players on the friends list, so had to keep the official ‘ranks’ to FC moderators only to keep things fair on everyone.

Basically, in heading up the FC, I share many of the same issues as a clan leader, and would value the opportunity to share those issues and swap ideas and advice with other experienced group leaders.

Forum QFC: Our forums

Whilst I appreciate that we are a very new clan all of the keys came from long term leadership roles in large clans. Our aim as a clan is to guide both experience and newer players through PVM content. From the lowest levels like mole to yaka and rago. We managed to carry a level 60 through the rewind feat :P . I know it states 6 months plus but I feel we can offer a lot to the community. Jump in my cc and ask my members :) .

Thank you for taking the time to read my request.

Love

Sam
