*A presence suddenly fills the area. It is neutral, yet strong enough for even the meekest beings to sense. As of yet, it has no apparent source, but lingers for a duration of time.*
*The atmosphere of the thread shifts slightly as the lingering presence seems to receed. To sharp eyes, one might see a silhouette slowly forming in the center of the area, as if made of air. Gradually, it gains consistency and density, an actual form beginning to manifest.*
*Eventually, the form appears as a shadow. Then the light around it shifts slightly, and details start to reveal themself. Finally, a man is revealed, standing in the center of the place. He is clad in black, complimented by a long black trench coat.*
*His head is bowed slightly, his eyes closed, and his long black hair hanging limply aside his pale face. He takes a slow breath, lifting his head, and opens his eyes slowly. They are deep blue, and seem to pierce everyone as they scan the area.*
*His face takes on a slight grin as his eyes find an empty seat, and he begins walking toward it. His feet fall in perfect silence, his stride a bit offset, making it appear as if he is gliding across the floor. He reaches his seat, and watches the area casually.*
*He speaks, his voice calm and steady, seeming to talk directly into one's very being.*
"Ah, Geistlos, a conundrum and an enigma, neither spectre nor shade, yet Shadowkin all the same. My motivations are clear, so long as one's perspective is untainted. Take the time to read the signs, drink deeply from the cup of wisdom, and sit beside me as an equal..."
*A very faint, yet powerful flicker of bright blue-white is seen in his eyes, an inner glow seemingly of its own source. It recedes in the same moment, as quickly as it appeared.*
"I do hope that an understanding may be forged between us. Though one cannot leave everything to the fates..."
*His faint grin returns, just as he suddenly vanishes, as if the world blinked him into nothingness.*
