Read some threads. Seems like people are making their powerplays early, lol.
I dont think you are stupid or anything, but I have some suggestions anyways.
Do your work ingame. Forums are the end result, but not always the means to it. It doesnt matter who claims King of the Hill first. They will still have to pull through and get the clans to follow them.
At this point, its not even a matter of who knows the most JMods. People follow actions - not words. Talk is cheap. Its walking the walk that wins out at the end of the day.
The original RSB was a melting pot of all clans, and everyone had a voice - Jagex used to make sure of that. It was a true 'Camelot', but only because that is what the clans of the day molded it into.
Sure, you had your power freaks back then too, but they were kept in balance and check by all the rest. It all eventually evolved into a community. The RSB was so much more than just a ladder and a self appointed council. We had events as a community. PKers, RSCers, War Clanners, Skillers, Themed clans etc all participated in these events. Not because it was mandatory, but because they knew each other, and wanted to do things together.
I like your democracy Spike. Idk about anyone else, but the worst thing anyone can do is tell someone that is doing something in a game that they volunteer to play, that they HAVE to do THIS thing, and do it a certain way - or they dont matter. So false, lol.
It seems to me that people should form a community before they start forming their councils. In fact, one might not want to worry about setting up a government until they see what they are left with to govern. If things run without a group of people who are only concerned with self-importance, what would be the point of a council? The original ladder did not have one for a long time.
Good luck, and if you are of a mind to - get ingame and start networking. People always follow what they feel is best for them. ~winks~

Yeah RSB Ladder didn't have a council for awhile and it took I think 3 attempts for that idea to stick, mainly because when that idea was formed it wasn't really right for the ladder. First one was by vote, people voted for I think 15 people (could be wrong on the number) and the top 15 got in. That quickly went south cause people either never did anything or declined so it was down to like 6 and I quit RS for awhile while in there, which was kind of a stupid idea but it wasn't really intended.
In any event if a council fits EOC then all for it, times have changed quite a lot since 2007-2009.

Admac that sounds like a fun idea but I'm sure people will complain about it because the models won't be the same as 07. But meh when don't people complain nowadays
. It just depends on if they have a good reason to complain.
Also I think spell check on these forums may be dependant on what browser you have. I didn't have it with 1 but with Waterfox I do.
On a side note 07 was funny sometimes because I would argue with some people on one thread and be really cool with them on another

I dont know, Ive spent the day reading about a lot of stuff that wasnt 07 lol. Did you see the "no drinks" in Clan Wars issue? *D
Its been decided that you cant not only use potions, but also no cuppa teas either. It seems it was preferable to make no drinks option over no potions option...the JMod said, "it says 'no drinks' so it was made that way'."
New skill Artisan in 07...
07 must be around longer than I thought it has been, which is a bummer.
Right now, Im just confused at this point.
In the end though, a different and better character creation with fashion would make money.

EDIT: Any chance this game has flyers/mounts anywhere in it yet? Just curious.
