stuck on barbarian training

So years ago, I started barbarian training. I neglected it, and maybe somehow lost the chewed bones.

Now I have been trying to get them, but the mithril dragons never drop them! I actually quit the game twice because of not being able to make any progress in the quest line because the chewed bones just. don't. drop.

Is it possible that my quest is bugged? because I must have killed numerous amounts of them and I would so love to be done with the miniquest...
