Hi everyone! I'd like to share a little-known trick that I used to get my HCIM's Divination level up to 95 with boosted XP rates. This method allows you to constantly spawn enriched wisps at any colony, but I strongly suggest using this method for 60-95 Divination as these are the tiers that get the most benefit from spawning enriched wisps.
You can perform this method in general to boost your own XP rates, or use this method to boost the XP rates of other accounts including ironman/hardcore ironman accounts. It's quite click intensive if you want good results as the more focused you are, the more chronicle fragments you'll get per hour.
To perform this method, the following is required:
1. An unrestricted account.
2. Completing the Memorial to Guthix tutorial.
I also strongly suggest:
- Having the Elder Divination Outfit so you have the chance of collecting two chronicle fragments on harvest.
- Wearing a Pontifex Shadow Ring to boost the spawn rate of chronicle fragments.
- Having the Abyssal Transit benefit enabled from the Memorial to Guthix, on the account that you're collecting the chronicle fragments on.
To start, go to World 79 and head to the incandescent wisp colony. On W79, all of the top players are farming divine charges or grinding 200m XP and chronicle fragments spawn constantly. Hover your mouse on and around the enriched incandescent wisp, and your tooltip will occasionally flash "Capture Chronicle Fragment".
Click fast enough and you can capture fragments that are located directly under the enriched wisp. If you can consistently click directly in the center of the enriched wisp, you can also capture this way without player names flooding your screen.
Once you collect a significant stack of chronicle fragments (1,000 is good), make your way to any colony. Stay on World 79 as you will also be helping other low level players boost their Divination XP rates. Now all you need to do is empower the rift when you want an enriched wisp!
