Interesting, it would be nice if you could update it, if you ever have time (I know that's unlikely, but would still be nice :p)

I found it hillarious that those high xp people would know about how to craft nats efficiently, given that it is a really bad way to get xp (even in 2009).

I had a friend who was going for (and later reached) 200m rc xp, as part of a race, at that time, though they didn't start it, in the end, till later, due to irl commitments:

He was testing his method:

Blood Tiaras
(Done with no external assistance)

• Blood tallies.
• 3 Largest pouches.
• Tiaras.
• Pack-Yak
• Blood tabs.
(.. and because they eventually started later:
• Masters'.
• Dunge Ring).

This may seem like longer time 'overall' give the time spent at GOP.. but evryone I know (mainly the people in the clan [not sole* RuneScape-based, and not a 'clan' as such, so it has just over 1.5k people]) were all spending a very long time there, just for fun, anyway; so they all had more than enough tokens to mess arround with and would have been there regardless.

Against this Method:

I think this one is self explanatory.


Admittedly they both lost many B gp over it, though the prize was very attractive, given the whole clan had taken it as a running joke to add large sums to it. Though it didn't cover the massive drop experienced by the blood tiaras, arround the Bot Nuke time.

Back to my point:
Why were such high ranks criticizing about a method which they, presumably, shouldn't be using if they were all that bothered about efficiency? Both of the above methods net more xp than the best Span rates, anyway.. since they made tiaras one-click actions.


A good guide and I'm glad it helped people.

Since rune running can be a good proffit again, now, I hope many will benifit from the ideas in this thread. (it still has some helpfull tips, even after NIS).
