Tome of Tracking bug?

I'm trying to complete Desperate Creatures and I was sent to Anachronia to find the flora using the Tome of Tracking. However, the tome only says the same message no matter where I go on Anachronia."the tome seems to be directing you towards Eastern Anachronia." I have checked in with The Curator who keeps referring me back to the Tome of Tracking and wanting me to find the flora.

Help! I'm stuck and I don't understand why the tome isn't working and allowing me to find the flora. Any ideas?

How you already done some of the tasks for the Curator? The "Eastern Anachronia"hint is for the fourth task, not the first.
