I have set the miniquest active but I cannot get Mr.Mordaut to talk about the quest.

The only 2 options he has to discuss are: Anachronia & Orthen Dig Site

I have reached lvl 120 Arch - but is there something I have missed here in Orthen? I want to get on with the quest - but no luck.

Requirements are met (Desperate Measures and level requirement).

BUT i cannot get the quest started

Have you completed the Anachronia base camp tutorial with Giles?

Sorry for necrobumping this post but I am currently having this same problem with Sins of the Father miniquest.

Have basecamp pretty much fully upgraded and I have the Sins of the Father miniquest set as active, but no dialog is appearing when I talk to Mr. Mordaut, only getting the same two options: Anachronia and Orthen Dig Site.

I have finished all requirements to do this but I encountered this problem of getting into the effigy incubator while trying to finish the quest: Extinction.

Talking to Giles also gives no option to start or continue the Anachronia Tutorial (If that was the issue)

Problem has been resolved. It's not the same door as in the Desperate Measures quest, it is the door in the area above the door with a giant Dragonkin statue hanging over it.
