The skilling tab in the magic book won't show unavailable spells anymore. The "show unavailable" is ticked in the filter though. Also, I can't un-toggle "show unavailable" at all (so I'm unable to un-check the box and re-check the box). I'd like to see my unavailable skilling spells again in my book. Does anyone know how I can solve this?

I am having this same issue and it started happening after I unlocked Invention. Before I unlocked Invention, I did notice I was unable to uncheck the box [Show Unavailable] in the Filter list; but now I cannot see any spells I do not have runes for and the [Show Unavailable] box is checked.

Try changing the magic filter settings on RS Mobile. When that's done, hop back to your desktop and log in through that to see if it helped. The filters on RS Mobile can effectively overwrite the desktop client, so make sure you change the settings on there first.. or at least, give it a try.
