I have a Charos' Clue Carrier and would like to understand it better. What wiki is saying about it is confusing, i.e. " There is no imposed limit of how many of each item the clue carrier can hold, but it cannot be used to bypass the soft limit of 25 scrolls per tier." (I have no idea what that "soft limit of 25 scrolls per tier" means!)
I am collecting "hard" clues as those are what I enjoy the most due to the puzzles in them. I'm fighting hell hounds in Taverly Dungeon so I can use a cannon. When first got in to fight them I already had over 25 hard clues in my clue carrier; and stayed long enough to bring that number up to 50. Question: Had I stayed would the clue carrier permit me to get more "hard" clues, i.e. would the hell hounds continue to drop those clues? How does this intent fit the statement above about "no limit" and "soft limit of 25"?
