Decoder issue during RotM

So I was doing RotM and I got to the decoder section of the quest.
The code is DBFF


So I go to the door and proceed to use the decoder strips.


I made sure to use both 3 and 4 on F


So if you looked closely you would notice that D just shows the letter L
and I have no idea what I did wrong, or if its just bugged. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I wanted to also note I've tried logging out and back in destroying the code and decoders and reobtaining them and nothing changed. The only thing left unmarked in the quest guide is to get into zemouregals fortress.

the characters peeking through the openings in the strips should be numbers, not letters. I suspect what you think is an L is actually a 4
