No double xp?

Hi. I've only recently returned to RS to forgive me if I'm just being an idiot. I saw the news post and a clan member confirmed they have double xp right now, but I don't seem to have it. I see no icon for it on my screen, and testing (smithing an adamant body) delivered standard xp.

Wondering if anyone can enlighten me?

This issue remains. I've checked everything I can think of. I'm assuming there's some kind of explanation but it's frustrating not to know what that is.

But yeah I've continued to check the amount my xp is going up against the xp on the wiki, and there's no double xp for any kind of activity in any skill.
