Zammy Undercity Bug?

Hi all,

Wondering if anybody would be able to help me with Zammy Undercity - I cannot get the second magical barrier down prior to Eterna. (I activated the pillar and killed all the monsters, but there is still a barrier up) What am I doing wrong?

You need to activate two magical wards.

From memory, one's on a bridge to the east of the portal. The other is in a building to the west.
