Stuck on Fairy Tale Part 1! Pl

So I have been able to get as far as getting the Skull from Draynor Mannor (known as Draynor Skull) for Malignus Mortifer, but for some reason when I go back to him it's like I haven't even started a quest as he goes back to his usual text.

I have tried destroying the skull and obtaining a new one, but still the same outcome.

I have tried starting a new quest, then re-activating this quest and still no luck!

I have also tried to talk to Fairy Nuff to obtain a new "Symptoms List" so I could show Malignus Mortifer that section again, but she has also gone back to her non-quest version.

I'm really stuck and not sure how to complete the quest! Please help urgently! Thanks!

The journal is currently on...

"I was directed to a necromancer named Malignus Mortifer who told me to get a skull from the grave in Draynor Manor before he would help me."

So I went to Draynor Manor and get the skull from the grave at the back of the manor. The skull is called Draynor skull. Went back to him and nothing is happening.

Did you talk to Zandar?

Make sure you go through all of the dialogue options on Malignus Mortifer.

Yep I talked to him and got all of the dialogue before I travelled to Draynor Manor to grab the skull without being interfered.

I know on the Wiki it does say if I don't get the entire dialogue I will likely have to redo that section by obtaining another copy of the "Symptoms List" from Fairy Nuff, but she won't give me one and will only offer to heal me.

Just to clarify, I don't have a copy of the "Symptoms List" as it disappeared after speaking with Malignius. Is this a potential bug? As I can't think of anything else I can do.

This is in Runescape 3.

It's Zandar that takes the symptom list, not Malignius.

Zandar is on the top floor of the Dark Wizard's Tower.
