Wow... quite a bit of information in A LOT of words. Solid guide though, thanks for posting.

ONE THING to add though... and perhaps someone else mentioned this... I didn't read through all of the other posts... Time is NOT tangible, at least not to my understanding of the word (able to sense by touch or something like that). Perhaps I am wrong, but I HAD to mention it.

ANYWAYS, seriously, this is a solid thread. Thanks for posting.

Greetings friends,

I have been playing Runescape for 10 years now, but I played on and off, taking huge breaks then coming back for few months. Last year I decided to quit for sure and ended up giving away all my items and my millions of gold. That was extremely stupid of me and now I log into RS3 with little knowledge of changes to the game, no money but with most skills above 50. My question is what would you suggest I start with to gain back my wealth and train my skills up at the same time. I would like to make a goal of going for maximum efficiency in progressively gaining experience. Should I work on runescafting? My highest skills are woodcutting 75, fishing 69, mining 60, firemaking 70, cooking 75.

It appears my guide still lives. I don't play these days, but from what I've heard, skills like Runecrafting aren't what they used to be as far as money goes. That being said, you have to train it eventually, and since it does make money, why not now? Back when I played, the ZMI alter to 91 was undoubtedly best; now I'm not so sure. You'll have to consult newer sources for the fastest sources of xp, etc.

Best of luck to you! Perhaps I shall one day again join you in Gielinor. The game is not the same as it was back then, but many of the principles of this guide still apply.
