Barbarian Barehand Fish HELP!

You need to go to a cage fishing spot in Catherby. Right click your mouse over the spot. Choose harpoon fishing option with no harpoon in your inventory. You will barehand fish then. I hope that helps.

I was having a similar problem. I am doing barbarian skill training and Otto told me to catch fish without a harpoon. I select the harpoon fishing option at Catherby shore and end up harpoon fishing, despite having no harpoon in my inventory. I tried at Karamja docks and it automatically does the barbarian bare-hand fishing. Might just be a glitch at Catherby shore.

Go to these menu's -

'Settings'
'Gameplay'
'Skills & Experience'
'Fishing'

then uncheck the bare handed tick box, this reply is for anyone who needs to still know this!! <3

I have exactly the same problem. Because I have a harpoon in my toolbelt I cant fish barehand. Theres no option to remove the harpoon from the toolbelt

Pintshot this doesnt work because the harpoon is in the toolbelt with no option to remove it. My box is ticked for barehand but I have to not have the tool on my belt!

According to your RuneMetrics page, you are level 54 in fishing. You need to be at least level 55.
