If I was to use a terrorbird or war tortoise to carry more prayer potions, could the skeletons at ape atoll attack my familiar, and potentially kill it, dropping its inventory on the floor? Or is it safe and unattackable?

I need help i tried the ape atoll tunnel one and i took the inventory you suggested.. i had to leave within 3 mins because of the falling rocks getting rid of my food supply straight away..
is there a method around this?
