Stuck within Light Puzzle 2.0

Ive directed the magenta beam of light into the green receiver and had no response from that receiver. My progress inside the puzzle has been halted there. I cant improve on the situation by logging or changing worlds...the instanced puzzle remains the same. Is there a way to reset the puzzle's instance or is there something that I am still missing?
