On behalf of all the True Colours members we welcome you to our clan thread. True Colours is inspired by the song True Colors written by Billy Steinberg / Tom Kelly. We are a group of members who focuses more on being one family. We are group of members who enjoy each other’s company over xp or gp. We are collaborating our clan to an active, social, and diverse clan with clan events such as pvm, skilling, d&d, and etcetera to suit you no matter where you are in the world. We are looking for players from all walks of life to add to our community and add their own little something to the clan. We believe that you can use your skills, talents, personality, and qualities in making our clan become an active, social, and diverse clan.

Capping for the first time = rank up to corporal.

Corporal - General Rank = Ranks are given out monthly (based on clan join date) and are given out based on activity.

Activity is identified based on the criterion given below:
- Recruiting and or referring other players to the clan (only one person may be credited for your referral).
- Capping regularly encouraged not required.
-Participating in scheduled clan events.
- Bumping the clan forum on the RS forums here: https://secure.runescape.com/m=forum/c=TSp6D2Il*rU/sl=0/forums?93,94,906,66253653
- General activity, meaning participating in the voice chat and or in clan chat.

·.·´¯`·.·Those interested in joining the admin team +·.·´¯`·.·

To those who are motivated and want to do more around the clan, you can apply to participate in the leadership or admins + of the clan. You become eligible to apply to the team after 30 days of joining the clan. An application does not guarantee you a spot, as the team needs to make sure you are a good fit for us too. You may also be invited to apply too by others on the team, especially if you show leadership and are helpful around the clan. Being an Admin is an at will position. If you do not want to be an admin, you are not required to be.

If your application is accepted into the admin team, your 30 day observation time as a temporary admin will begin (please see the policy for temporary admins).

- Have access regularly to discord for faster communication.
- Visit and cap at the citadel weekly.
- Be helpful, supportive and actively involved with clannies.
- Complete agreed on assigned clan jobs.
- Active in admins + channels in discord so you can participate in what's going on and be informed about situations.

Clan jobs are assigned by keys and are agreed upon by admin that take them. You may do as much work as you want or as little as one job if that's what you would prefer. All contributions are appreciated. If you do not know how to do something and are willing to learn, we will help teach you! You will be assigned one job at a time as to make sure to you do not become overwhelmed. When you show that you are proficient at the job you are assigned, you are more than welcome to pick up other responsibilities if you want to!

Organizers = expected to be able teach a singular clan job that they excel in with no difficulty. The are also expected to show leadership and help guide admin and regular clannies. Generally they have more than 1 clan job and can be trusted with handling multiple tasks. This is in addition to meeting qualification for admin and being certified as appropriate. Admins may move up to coordinator after being an admin for 30 days, this not a guarantee and must be earned by showing activity and going beyond expectations.

Coordinators = expected to have mastered all of or most of at least 1 branch and or be well rounded in more than 1 of the branches within the clan. They should be able to lead without direction as well as be able to teach more than one role comfortably. These individuals guide the coordinators, admins and clannies. They are considered eligible to a lead of one area in a branch ex: Citadel management and or being co lead of the events team. Exceptions to may be made on a case by case basis and someone may be allowed coordinator responsibilities if they show they can handle responsibilities sooner than their promotion arrives.

Overseers = expected to contribute as keys, they are experts in their branch of the clan and often pick up responsibilities in other areas that are not their predominate branch and or this person is proficient in many areas to the point that they are taking on multiple leadership areas in different branches. This person has been trusted with making high decisions for the clan and is generally regarded as a final say in the absence of owners/ deputy owners in the case disciplinary if J is not available. The proper policies must be followed for disciplinary action (see disciplinary polices for more information).

Deputy owners = considered masters of all three areas and regarded as equal as Fre (basically) and can give a final decision in her absence on behalf of her.

Owner = gets credit for everything because Fre does everything in this clan.

We derank for inactivity once per month and kick after 210 days of activity. For clannies that wants to stay in the clan and not be kicked you will need to let an Admins+ know that you still want to stay in the clan. For those that are in the hall of fame and have numbers over “2+ “ as you will be considered having loyalty and won't get kicked. You will just get deranked. Any loyalty clannies will not be kicked and any of the clannies in this sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1w9TaHWFIIrkdiSNbNuL4Na-iAg7OS2KPqkrSEwNwdOA/edit?usp=sharing . If you are kicked you are always welcome to join the clan.

When you come back from being inactive as a clan member (not admin) you will be observed for 1 month before you are ranked up in the system. You must earn your ranks back via the clan ranking system. This is just to be sure you have been active for a full month. Admins who go inactive after using their LOA must reapply via the admin application (see admin application area/ becoming an admin for more information).

Recruit - Allowed to recruit to the clan.

Corporal - Broadcast Clan Events from the Noticeboard.

Sergeant - Able to vote in Clan Meetings.

Lieutenant - Operate Theatre Room.

Captain - Operate Party Room. Able to become volunteer cohost for events (see events section).

General - Start event in the Battlefield.

Administrator - Able to set resource goals in the citadel based on advice from citadel managers.

Organizer - Can lock plots in the citadel as advised by the citadel managers.

Coordinators - Able to upgrade Skill Plots/manage citadel with advice from citadel managers.

Overseer - Able to downgrade Skill Plots and run citadel with discretion from citadel managers.

Deputy Owner - Equal say as Fre.

Owner - Fre has the final say.

1) All of Jagex Rules Apply.

2) No Begging - Begging is defined as asking for free items, gold, ranks or services repeatedly. You can ask if anyone has anything they no longer need. However, continually asking more than 3-4 times will be considered spam and may be seen as harassment.

3) Foul Language usage - Some of us can swear like sailors that's fine however, do not direct foul language at others, this is not allowed. If anyone asks you to please refrain from inappropriate language, please be respectful and be aware of who is in chat with you. Some of our members have small children and their innocent ears don't need to hear that sort of language.

4) Respect - Treat others with courtesy and be fair to them. If someone asks for a topic change, please respect their wishes and or take the conversation to a private message or call.

5) Conversations regarding politics, about racism, religious debates, drugs or other AODA topics are not permitted in the clan discord voice chats - These subjects are to be shared in private message or calls only and True Colours is not responsible for any person being offended or feeling disrespected outside of this server for it is an individual’s choice to partake in those sorts of conversation elsewhere.

6) Discrimination of any kind is an immediate ban - This includes the use of racial or other slurs, purposeful glorification of segregation of any parties or group, and or any attempt at trying to exclude others on purpose.

7) Drama is not welcome or wanted Please keep that out of here.
