My neighbor reported that a squirrel was running in circles in front of my house, and he wasn’t sure if it was sick or had been hit by a car. He called the police. An officer responded, and as the officer drove on the street, he ran over the squirrel....

Unfortunately in the UK grey squirrels are classed as vermin if if you find a hurt one and take it to the vets they have to just put it down
So possibly the police officers action was not that bad xD
