Our
Iron Family was officially founded on 14th February 2017 amongst a group of
·._.·´¯)
friends in order to establish
a uniquely warm and loving ironman clan for people of all levels, interests and pursuits.
It is our hope to make new friends, and recruit new family members in the hopes of growing the
encouraging and positive community we wish to create.

It has now
been nearly 4 months since our journey began, and our Iron Family has
·._.·´¯)
grown beyond all expectations so far; we have a
lively Discord, growing citadel, recurring events, dedicated staff
and most importantly,
180+ amazing members who share our vision of warm and friendly ironman clan
. As a whole, we’re a friendly bunch of players with a mix of pvm’ers, skillers, questers and everything in between, from a diverse selection of nationalities, with varying experience levels, and across all timezones. So there's a little bit there for all playstyles!
And there's room for you too in our family

This is a HCIM & IM only clan
– only hardcore and regular ironmen/women
will be
·._.·´¯)
accepted into the clan. However, we have
no skill or combat level requirements
. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience, this includes
both f2p and p2p
RuneScape 3 players.

If you
want to be a part of our Iron Family
, then we expect you to follow all the
·._.·´¯)
rules of RuneScape and to be able to
contribute positively
to our clan.
No topics are absolutely banned
in our clan chat or Discord, as long as it's within the rules of RS3, but
we expect our members to be discrete and respectful at all times
, and especially on sensitive subjects. Furthermore, we’d like to
limit swearing and potentially offensive words
as much as possible to keep the atmosphere pleasant and positive.

Bullying behavior and demeaning attitudes are never acceptable
in our Iron Family,
·._.·´¯)
and individuals who are a negative influence on the clan chat
may be removed from the clan at any time
. We’re not here to become the biggest clan;
we’re here to expand our wonderful ironman family
and get to skill, kill and chat with amazing and fun people :D

Ranking system

Recruit, corporal and sergeant
ranks are not used in our clan,
meanwhile star ranks are purely based on time in the clan:
•
Lieutenant
– this is where you start
•
Captain
– 3 weeks total in the clan
•
General
– 6 weeks total in the clan
For the star ranks there are
zero responsibilities, aside from
contributing positively to the clan.


Admin - Organizer - Coordinator

These ranks are given to
those who wish to have responsibilities
within the clan:
Admins are expected to help out with
2
, organizers with
3
and coordinators with
4 or more
.

Potential responsibilities include:
• Forum/Discord maintenance • Community help •
• Clan events • PvM training/help •
• General game helping • Citadel maintenance •


It is important to note that all responsibilities are
entirely voluntary, and that the ranks themselves choose
whichever they’ll prefer to do. We’re
not setting quotas
or quantifying the help, the important part is that they’re
willing to help out
with it.

How to join our family

you feel like we might be the right clan for you

clan chat ingame and get to know us. We
do not accept forum applicants or invite strangers directly anymore
, as we are a community-focused clan, and
we want to know all our wonderful members

To
visit our clan chat
, hover over the community panel ingame, and click the

yellow figure icon. Once you've got the clan window open, click the green circle in bottom-right corner of the window, and then the speech bubble with + icon just left of it.
Type in "Iron Family" in the chatbox - and you'll now arrive
in our clan chat! To
type in a clan chat you're guesting in
, you can either switch to guest tab manually in the chatbox (green+yellow figures), write /// in front of every sentence, or use /g to switch to the tab.

Please note
that players with offensive names are not welcome in our clan chat.

Similarly, players without RS3 (HC)IM accounts cannot join either, as
we are an ironman only clan
, and we do not have an OSRS branch at present.

Guests are
very welcome to join our clan chat
at any time, regardless of whether
·._.·´¯)
they eventually intend to join or not. Our
Discord, however, is private
and for clannies only;
exceptions will only be made for long-time steady guests
who are not a member of another ironman clan. Additionally, anybody is welcome to join the Discord for limited voice-only access in order to do advanced PvM with our members, such as Rots or Rago,
but they will only have access to the Guest PvM voice channel.

All our events are open to guests
, except some of the high level PvM events where
·._.·´¯)
sign-up is required on Discord. However,
if last-minute spots are openly advertised in the clan chat, then guests are welcome to join
as well.

Please note: Although
we are an ironman only clan, non-ironman accounts are
·._.·´¯)
also very welcome to guest,
as long as they are evidently interested in the ironman game mode
or have alt accounts that are ironman.
