So what is the Republic of Varrock and what does it do?

The Republic of Varrock (RoV for short) is a Social-POC. What that means is we focus on your enjoyment while themed in one of the greatest cities in RuneScape!
Our goal is to create a fun, laid back environment to help you make the most of your time on RuneScape while packaging it in a creative way.

So how exactly do you spend most of your time on RuneScape and what do you want RoV to do for you?

-I spend most of my time just talking to friends and hanging out not crazy about doing work.

-I like doing things as a community and really enjoy helping others.

-I am here to conquer! Anyone or anything in my way is going down! All about those kills and making some sweet bank!

-Its all about the gainz. I got no time for XP waste.

-Not really sure what I want, just looking around. Came back to RuneScape after some time away and not sure what to do.

All About the Social Scene

RoV is a Social-POC, we are all about being laid back and just having a good time. The beauty of RoV is that NOTHING is mandatory! We reward and promote activity within the clan but if you really feel like not doing anything that is fine too, we won't make you and you won't be punished for it. Just enjoy the chat or start up a conversation yourself, there are lots of friendly people in RoV and they are waiting to be your friend!

A Sense of Community

If you prefer to help out other players or do things as a group then RoV will make the perfect home for you. You can start or join events anytime you like, we are always having spontaneous events! Just do something and ask anyone if they want to join, its that easy and it can be loads of fun! If you're more into organized events then perhaps you will like to help out in organizing and participating in a allied event!

Being part of a POC means having other clans as friends (and enemies) and we always need friendly members to help bridge the gap and bring us all together to have fun. We are all about working as a team and we work hard to try to create a fun and relaxed environment but still be a mature and safe place to talk and hang out. With your help we can make RoV and RuneScape in general become an even better place to have fun.

So you are into PvP/PvM and Bossing?
Well join our ranks and help defend RoV from enemy clans! Being part of a POC means having allies AND enemies... and sometimes a little show of muscle is needed. Join us today and be prepared for battle as we have fun (and staked) wars against allies and enemies alike. If a giant boss is the prey you seek RoV is full of players ready to stand by your side and help you tackle even the greatest of foes. All you need to do is ask and chances are there will be a group of players ready and willing to start up a bossing event. Get support from your fellow clannies and give your support to the clan in times of war.

Skills Before Kills

From swords to plowshares if skilling is more your forte then RoV has you covered. With a T7 Citadel and active Avatar Wardens you can be sure you will always get your skilling bonus (just remember to feed it orts!) Help gather resources at our citadel for some sweet xp and if you keep it up each week you can enjoy some nice fealty rewards, as well as your weekly dose of bonus xp thanks to our citadel quartermaster. Skilling can get boring fast without friends tagging along, in RoV chances are someone will always be nearby working towards similar goals.
Not sure what the best method to train is? Need some advice? Luckily we come packed with some great maxed/completionists who are friendly enough to always lend a hand and share some advice.

Back from a Hiatus?

RoV has been around since 2007. It has seen a long list of members come and go, we know how it is to return to a game that has changed so much. The nice thing about RoV is that you are always welcome back and it will always be a familiar place you can call home. RoV has a lot of veteran players, as well as newcomers to the game (yup we even accept F2P) All of whom are willing to help you with any questions you may have and get you back on your feet and enjoying RuneScape again. If you aren't sure what you are looking for give RoV a try anyway I am sure you will find something you like and if there is something you think we need let us know. We try to accommodate everyone and offer our members a wide variety of activities to make RuneScape more enjoyable for them. RoV values its members, once you become a part of RoV you will always have a place here.

-Republic of Varrock Rules & Conditions-

1. First and foremost ALL JaGeX rules apply.

-RuneScape is their game we follow their rules.

2. Please be respectful to EVERYONE.

-In clan chat, during events, or on forums you should be respectful to everyone. RoV is a friendly place, once you join you are representing what we stand for, being disrespectful to others only shames the rest of the clan.

3. Come to the council with your problems.

-If you are having problems with another clan member please come to the council. We can help resolve the issue, arguing in clan chat and starting drama is not attractive and will not be tolerated in clan chat.

4. Always be a light to others.

-Offer assistance whenever you can, if you are unable to help someone try to recommend someone or someway they can get help. We want people to remember their experience with RoV as a good one and the best way to do that is to be a beacon of friendship to everyone you encounter.

These rules are simple and easy to follow, so long as you try to be a good person you should have no problems within RoV.
