Lot of nostalgia, and a beautifully written piece as a sign off from the Forums. While they may be leaving (and agree, it is the right move), the RNC and friends I've made here since joining RNC in 2011 (and RS back in 2006 and using the forums for information and looking for events) are still strong. Looking forward to what the future holds!

Eighteen years was a good run, and as bittersweet as it is this is a good time to let go. The 2006-era of the RS forums was as wild a west as the 2006 internet that it, RuneScape, and us twelve-year-olds inhabited; its ingenuity never to be repeated again. RNC, RuneScape, and the RuneScape forums in particular were profoundly impactful on me, and it's a treasure to be able to come back one final time to say good bye. :D
