Though the libraries that contained the full history of Last Kingdom were burnt down by the neaby lava, a bit of history was salvaged.

Last Kingdom has gone through several iterations and changed names often. Some of our leaders used to lead a fairly successful clan called TMOZ prior to the evolution of combat.

After EOC, this clan was created and dubbed Zaros, Inc. It was then renamed to Shadowfell, and subsequently rebooted as Last Kingdom. Our leaders love this game, and have changed and adapted as the RuneScape has evolved.

Much of this period has been long forgotten, swept away with the sands of time. The temple clergy are continuously trying to rediscover what was lost of our history, through ancient documents and accounts.

«†» Late 2007:
Youyou_6300, Lord of Taverly, along with Frogwarts and Meepers40 leave the Kingdom of Ardougne (KoA) to form their own clan (originally structured as a private army). On this day, The Arcane Knights (TAK) rise for the first time. Youyou and Frogwarts jointly lead it as Lord Commanders. World 60 is selected as the homeworld.

«†» Early 2008:
The Kingdom of 8:
The Kingdom of Ardougne is disbanded and its Queen, Jexx200 joins TAK. The Arcane Knights becomes a POC and is led by a triumvirate consisting of Youyou, Jexx200 and Frogwarts.

«†»Mid 2008:
King Frogwarts quits Runescape to pursue real life interests. Around this time Lordrockmore joins and rises to the rank of recruitment lord, greatly increasing recruitment rates.

«†» Mid 2008 (some time before the Clan Wars update of September):
Around this period, The Arcane Knights owned most of the lands on w60. A clan by the name of the Black Knights threatens TAK, demanding that they be given some lands and warning that they have an “army of a thousand warriors” ready at all times. Noticing that ‘now* could be classified as part of ‘all times’, TAK members head to clan wars and challenge the Black Knights, quickly defeating them.

The Arcane Knights joins the Imperial Runescape Empire, a union of clans led by Kaiser Termin8u2.

«†» 4th of April 2009, the Arcano-Romano conflict:
Tensions increase between members of the IRE and its long time enemy The Roman Empire (Then Roma Imperia) + allies. After flame wars and skirmishes in PvP worlds The Arcane Knights threatens Roma Imperia; prompting it’s leader Pyrithione1 (Pax Bellum) to declare war on TAK.

The war takes place on the 4th of April, 2009. Many allies from both sides do not show up, most notably clans of The IRE union, the reason the war was started in the first place.
The Arcane Knights are outnumbered 30 to 18 and are defeated.

Following the war, TAK leaves the IRE, and the Arcane Intelligence Agency helps reveal IRE spies in Roma Imperia and The Renaissance as a sign of good faith.

5 and a half years after the disbanding of the Kingdom in its first age, Youyou decides it is finally time to restore TAK, bringing it back to its former glory. The Arcane Kingdom is formed. Military, Embassy, Arcane Knights and Domestic Bureau branches created.

«†» 25th of June, 2015:
King Youyou convinces The Fremennik to join w60, the first time two POCs have existed on it since 2009. An alliance is established and the Universal Heritage Declaration is created.

«†» 4th of July, 2015:
King Youyou reconnects with Riomii, an old friend and veteran of the POC community. The two have a long history of working together in POC's. Riomii is a former Empress of EOF and Queen/Founder of GOS. Youyou decided that Riomii's previous POC and leadership experience would be essential in the rebirth of TAK and appoints her as Queen.

«†» 25th of July, 2015:
Queen Riomii steps down due to personal reasons. She will forever be remembered as the Cooldown Queen, having spent like half of her time as leader on cooldown.

«†» 27th of July, 2015:
Fiqs, a founding member of the Kingdom in its Second Age and previously Director of the Domestic Bureau is crowned princess!

«†» 17th of August, 2015:
King Youyou steps down as King due to real life obligations, and Fiqs becomes the Queen of The Arcane Kingdom. Queen Fiqs promptly promotes Hollisterune (a founding member of the clan) to the rank of Prince.

«†» 26th of August, 2015: Queen Fiqs steps down as Queen in order to pursue real life obligations. Hollisterune is promoted to King, and FunkyChicken is promoted to Queen. Clan is restructured and TAK joins the w103 POC community.

«†» 3rd of September, 2015: FunkyChicken steps down as Queen.

«†» Early 2016: Zaxis Kefka is chosen as Crown Prince! He was previously part of TAK leadership as well as being a POC veteran.

«†» 24th of February, 2016: The Arcane Kingdom, and multiple other clans, choose to withdraw from the w103 community following various conflicts and drama; choosing instead to focus on strengthening the clan domestically.

«†» March 2016: StarDrifter joins The Arcane Kingdom and is selected as Princess!
