Attention citizens,

Earlier this week on Ivanday, Novtumber 2nd, the grand city of Falador was suddenly and viciously attacked by the evil forces of the Kinshra Knights.

In the years since their betrayal and the original siege of our great city the Kinshra have been in open war with Falador and it's protectors the White Knights. However until their most recent attack the designs of the Kinshra have done little to effect the every day lives of our peaceful citizenry. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that this invasion has cause significant damage to the city's infrastructure, and inflicted heavy casualties upon the local populous not least of all our valiant city guard.

It is believed that this invasion of our sovereign was prompted by the circulation of rumors regarding the legendary Banner of Raddallin. If such an item exists and is still to be found it will most certainly be without our great walls, and within those walls it will remain. Should our adversaries succeed in their goal to find the banner, they will most certainly fail in their attempts to retreat with it. Any black knight who steps foot through our gates will leave only as a corpse.

The road ahead will be long and arduous, and I can not promise the casualties will grow less substantial. There is no denying that our people and our way of life are in grave danger. However I have confidence that our brave men and women fighting upon our walls, through our streets, and in the fields and forests around our homes will continue to fight ferociously and unto their dying breath until we achieve nothing short of absolute victory!
