• When participating in a dangerous or tedious activity, or chat is too busy you may sign out of cc.

-- We do not arbitrarily kick members without reason. However, breaking any of these rules will result in an immediate– and with certain rules permanent– kicking.

• No botting or macroing
• No scamming
• No luring
• No flaming (no insulting members or guests)
• No bullying
• No pk-ing clan members without consent (we do have tournaments at times but you shouldn't bring anything you aren’t willing to lose).
• No begging/asking for free money or free items
• No account sharing (no asking to log on someone’s account, no allowing them to log into your account.
•We do not want you if you have actively, or in recent months, participated in RWTing, luring, or scamming. Our clan is a healthy member of the RS community, not a parasitic one.

(1) Disciplinary Rules

(A) Officer's First Conversation (Warning) With Member:

• If it is a minor rule broken you will be contacted in private message by a Clan Officer for the purpose of sorting facts. If, however, an admin or officer witnesses a regular-rule (3 Month Ban) broken they are allowed to immediately ban (if a warning is needed it will be provided but sometimes there won’t be a warning). Major Rules broken are a 2-year ban to the clan. Capital Rules broken are a permanent exile. Following is a short list of general rules in their respective categories:

Minor Rules (1st time- Warning, 2nd time- Warning, 3rd time- 3 month ban, reset)
•Politics, Religion, topics of an extremely personal nature should be moved to private or friends chat. These subjects can lead to drama and arguments. Please do not intentionally bring up hot-topics with desire to cause division in the clan, you will be banned with a few easy clicks.

•No arguing, overt or covert drama, rants or bullying in clan chat. We do not permit divisive dialogue ruining content

Regular Rules (3 month ban. Warnings may be given once for certain rules)
•Do not ask to trust-borrow. This is a form of scamming/begging and is not tolerated.

•No flaming (no insulting members or guests)

Major Rules (2-year ban)
•No botting or macroing
•No bullying
•No pk-ing clan members without consent (we do have unsafe Internal Battles for fun with cheap gear).
•No account sharing (no asking to log on someone’s account, no allowing them to log into your account.

Capital Rules (Permanent Exile)
•Luring, Scamming, Hacking, RWTing, or any language of an extremely malicious nature (suggesting someone harm themselves or another outside of the game.)

—----------------------------------

• Please respond promptly, respectfully to the Officer's request for dialog in pm.

• Failure to do so will result in referral of incident to Owner and Deputies for further action at their sole discretion.

2. Time stamped non-broken, non-selective, consecutive screenshots of cc/Discord dialog are always beneficial to help sort facts. Provide those if you can. It could also at times be useful to record someone over voice chat if they are not typing the incriminating dialogue (we have to clean up sometimes or things can get dirty).

3. The Clan Officer will explain which clan rules were broken along with expected acceptable behavior.

4. If the matter can not be resolved by a lower ranking Officer it will be referred to the Owner or Deputies for appropriate action.

B) Second Conversation (Warning) With Member:

1. All of (A) (1) (2) (3) apply.

2. Since this is the second intervention by an officer, the issue will have been referred with appropriate screen shots to Owner or Deputies.
• Purpose of this conversation will be to explain reasons why the rules are in place. The majority of times an explanation of why clears up the matter with no further incident.

(C) Sorry, no Third Warnings:

1. Secondary Warnings are the second step. The final step prior to kicking and banning. This step is self-explanatory and only applies to rules that allow warnings (some only allow one, such as asking for trust-borrowing.)

2. All of (A) (1) (2) (3) (4), (B) (1) (2) apply.

3. A Warning means to correct behavior immediately or be prepared to be kicked without any further communication from any Clan Officer (except for Minor Rules which allow 2 Warnings).

(D) Special Circumstances Emergency Kicking:

1. This provision is used to immediately remove disruptive member(s) who can not be brought under control by normal means of pm dialog, or member(s) whose actions are clearly not in the best interest of the Clan as a whole.

• The following are a few examples of the criterion used for emergency kicking: (a) Member using cc as a personal soapbox to air grievances about anything bothering them (b) Member creates a disturbance with overt clan drama which can not be deescalated (c) Member engages in a profanity laced rant (d) Member being immature to the point of not fitting in with the clan as a whole (e) Member whining and complaining (g) Member insulting or putting clan members down (h) Member engaging in excessive attention-seeking behavior (i) Member attempting to recruit clan members for another current clan or a clan being planned.

2. Any officer is granted permission to kick on the spot will make a carefully considered judgment call based on all information available relevant to circumstances prior to taking action.

3. Special Circumstances Emergency Kicking is granted to Overseers who find it necessary to use when other higher ranking officers are not online to deal with the issue.

(E) When Issues Resolve Themselves:

1. Most issues between mature adults resolve themselves and require no further intervention by Officers.

(F) Removing Disruptive Clan Chat Guests:

1. You must be a Recruit + cc rank to be granted permission to remove any guests from clan chat who troll or fit within any category which is disruptive to cc.
Generals may temporarily ban lower ranks but will need to capture evidence and report it to administrators.

2. Kicked guests will be put on a ban list to prevent further disruption.

(2) Rules Governing All Forms Of Communication

(A) Clan Chat:

(1) All clan rules apply in Clan Chat to ensure clan members a smooth-flowing, drama- and argument-free place for conversation.

(B) Private Chat:

(1) Jagex has built-in game controls, with several applicable categories for reporting unwanted pms, which are superior to any action we could take regarding any form of private communication. Please use these as necessary. However, if they are acting suspiciously or you can't tell if they are trying to lure/scam/RWT, take snippets of the conversation and send it to the clan leader or one of the admins, if you see a clan officers (Generals) online and wish to speak to them about it feel free to do so.
We have a special interest in finding out about novel luring and scamming schemes so we can add them to the public database of known schemes.

(2) Jagex has built-in tools for rapid repeat reporting. On Client click examine > click icon far left top > select appropriate category..

(3) Jagex has provided an Ignore function to eliminate pms from any player whose conversation is so unpleasant that you want no further contact from that individual. Please add appropriate parties to Ignore and keep them on Ignore.

(5) Please avoid all contact with whomever you deemed unpleasant in Public Chat.

(C) Public Chat:

(1) (B) (1) (2) (3) (4) inclusive apply.

(2) We trust that all members will take into consideration how their words and actions affect others, along with reflecting on the clan as a whole, before sharing them in Public Chat.

(D) Voice Chat of All Types:

(1) Jagex does not provide or sanction any type of voice chat, so it is the responsibility of the voice chat server owner to appoint Server Administrators to maintain order on those servers to Server Owner's satisfaction.

(2) Do not give out your phone number to anyone unless you feel you can personally trust the person you're giving it to.

(E) Instant Message Communication:

(1) This form of communication is not sanctioned by Jagex, so do not give out your information unless you personally trust the person you're giving it to.

Wow, you made it this far! We just wanted you to know what we're about before you joined.

If this sounds like the clan for you, please ensure you’ve read all of our rules and feel free to join the cc as a guest. If it is blocking guests then we may be in a PvP event. Wait patiently and if it continues to block guests after several hours post here on this thread. Depending on the quantity of requests we may take a day or two to respond to you.

We are primarily based in US time zones, nevertheless, we are happy to have our cousins from across the seas and those above/below our lands join our family. We do allow players who are only interested in PvM and not the PvP events. We will try to encourage you to at least go out with our cost-efficient presets and participate in the safe trainings/scrimmages. For those interested in our PvP events for dangerous/unsafe larger battles (you need at least the basics lesson {or demonstrate you know the basics in writing/duels} and one lesson in team strategies no matter what.) You will not be kicked from the clan though just because you focus on bossing. If you are not familiar with PvP we do weekly internal PvP events to teach the basics and foster our larger strategies.

Thanks for reading! Now check out the list of lures and scams to see if you already know them all. :)

McHawill,
Clan Owner

If you know of any current RS3 lure or scam schemes not on this list please contact the Post Owner or admins in the clan. (Obviously this information comes from friends' experiences, not your own, we understand.)

This list was compiled from multiple YouTube videos and reddit posts. I recommend if you haven't read a list of lures/scams before take the time to do so now. I can't tell you how many players have lost their banks/hundreds of mills because they never took the time to do this. Many of these schemes talked about are listed below without extra information on variations that can occur:

Known RS3 Lures and Scams:

Phishing Streams, Sites & Forums: I’m sure most of us have seen it at the ge, “500m or 2Bil Giveaway, pm me for details!" They tell you to go to a youtube channel which only has a few videos, low views, and they lead you to a phishing site (a RS Forums one usually) where you type in your username and password to sign up for the giveaway. Simple way to avoid- if they won’t just straight up give you the gold or do a drop party, it’s a scam/lure. Do not type in your RS username and Password anywhere except the Runescape website itself. Double Check URLs that anyone leads you to, even in your clan Discord. There may be only a few differences between the actual RS website’s URL and the phishing site’s.

Anti-lure Lure: Essentially 2 or more lurers will cooperate together to convince someone to try (one acts like your friend or an anti-lurer) and go kill a lurer -the anti-lure. However, they all are working together and as soon as they get you out into a dangerous PvP area they kill you.

Doubling scam: They offer to double, they may double 50k, 5m, but as soon as you put in a lot of gold they hop. People offering to double are always scammers. If they are using a glitch to duplicate it’s also a scam (and most likely a lie,
