Ahoy there citizens of the North, here's another juicy Royal Decree for you all! It is jam-packed with some awesome news including the creation of a new rank, promotions and, of course, what's to come in the future. So buckle in, 'cause here we goOoOooO!

From the very beginnings of the Kingdom, we discussed possibly creating a rank dedicated to recruitment and showing newer members the ropes. We decided to postpone it all the way until now! So say hello to our new lord rank: . This rank will be in charge of getting new blood into the clan and teaching them all types of wonderful things like the basics of Roleplay, POC formalities and much more!

However, unlike some of the other ranks we have created, we have chosen someone for the job right off the bat. So, everyone please give a big congratulations to on his promotion to Lord Herald!

On a similar note of promotions, the following one has certainly been earned. Due to his enthusiasm with teaching people how to boss, and holding events recently, has been promoted from Master of the Hunt to . Be sure too shoot him a congratulations also (though I hear his favorite thanks is for you to go bossing with him!)

Now that our Lord Maester position is open, the royals have decided it's time to make a little tweak to the position. The Lord Maester will still be the go-to lord that oversees the others; thus its little revamp will facilitate such actions. From this point forth, the Lord Maester will be responsible for keeping mini-reports on the current Lords and for those Lord positions that are open, their 2ic ranks. This will help everyone get a better idea of what each Lord is doing and will enable us to give them feedback on what they're doing amazingly and what needs improvement. Worry not, though, friends, as these reports won't be super extensive.

As the end of March approaches, so too does the Sweep. We will be sweeping out members of the clan that have not attended an event or capped in the last month. This is so that our clan member count reflects the true activity of the kingdom. We plan to have some more sweeps later on in the year as well. If you joined the clan during March, you are safe from the sweep!

Our ally, the , are working on their roleplay department. In an effort to boost RP in both of the clans, KotN has agreed to inter-clan roleplays with the elves! We really hope to see everyone getting involved in the storylines to come. If you want to join, just pm Broadsides or one of the keys, we'll get you set up.

We have something really big planned for the kingdom in the coming weeks. Be sure to keep an eye out for it! Remember that you are always free to apply for an admin position, so shoot a royal a pm if one of the open positions suits you.
