Taskmen are the new hybrid species of ironman completionists with mental disabilities. A spreadsheet controls us, giving us orders. We simply follow these orders and complete task after objective, objective after goal, goal after target, target after hmm..... you get the point.

Our destiny, completing the spreadsheet, task by task, objective by objective, goal by goal, target by target and hmmm...... I hope you get it by now! Our destiny will set us free once and for all. We're here together, following different paths towards the same end.

The past month has seen a lot of late nights uncovering and categorizing the achievements, content unlocks and items to obtain in the game into tiers ranging from Easy to God, depending on the levels and time required for completing the tasks. We proudly present to you: Generate Task, Rs3 edition. Generate Task is a new, restricted mode of gameplay working towards completing the majority of content the game has to offer – one task at a time! We all have the same destiny, the path, however, will be unique and unforeseen.

The game mode is based on the OSRS YouTube series by Tedious called Generate Task. Tedious created a spreadsheet based on the OSRS Collection-Log and made a script able to generate tasks for the player. There is a leaderboard with opportunities for competition, which is keeping track of progress, deaths and the total in-game time used. This means that you can join this competition at any given time and still be able to compete. The competition is only for newly made Ironman accounts following the guidelines described below.

Guidelines

1. Complete your task as fast as possible. Taking may's QuestPoint-shop unlock as an example, you have to do the quests you already have the requirements for first. Be as efficient as possible. Do not gather more resources than absolutely necessary.
2. Only actively work towards the current task. This means that if it's easily manageable, avoid completing other tasks during the active one.
3. Only complete quests if they are your current task or direct requirement. Avoid completing them for their experience rewards, even if it will be towards a level for your task.
4. When doing Clue scrolls, you are allowed to get the requirements for it as long as they fit in your current tier. (1-49 = easy, 50-69 = medium, 70-89 = hard, 90-99 = elite)
5. DailyScape is allowed if the activity will not reward you with experience. Experience given dailies will unlock at a later stage.
6. Do not try to do content you don't have the levels for (don't be a leech). If you find a task to hard, contact us in the discord channel and we will discuss it and make changes accordingly.
7. Complete the task by the information given in the description. In most cases, it will state what content can be used for its completion. When nothing is mentioned it is up to your imagination.
8. Experience lamps from achievement diaries are fair game, but they must be used upon completion of the diary, meaning you can not train a skill to get the level required to use it for.
9. Temple Trekking reward Experience tomes are off-limits due to their random distribution between skills.

Unlocks

1. 50% Completion of the easy tier unlocks the ability to do experience giving dailies like Nemi-forest, farm runs, Player owned Farms and others. Daily challenges are an exception, they are not allowed.
2. 100% Completion of the easy tier unlocks the ability to start doing Reaper Assignments.
3. 50% Completion of the medium tier unlocks the ability to train 1 skill of your choice to level 90. This skill can then be leveled towards 90 until the completion of the medium tasks.
4. 100% Completion of the medium tier unlocks Raids. You can now start doing this to slowly work towards the Passive Task for it.
5. 50% Completion of the hard tier unlocks the ability to train 1 skill of your choice to level 99. This skill can then be leveled towards 99 until the completion of the hard tasks.
6. 100% Completion of the hard tier allows you, when you reach the soft-cap of 25 clues in a given tier, to do 5 clues of that tier and store the caskets in your bank.
7. 50% Completion of the elite tier unlocks the ability to gather supplies like food, potions or divine charges while waiting for a sign of life or aura to come off cooldown.
8. 100% Completion of the elite tier allows you to get level 99 in the skills you aren't yet so that you can unlock the max cape.
