When you post in a thread it gets "bumped" to the top of the first page so more people can see it. Really you can type anything and it will get moved to the top but people usually type "bump" so others know to ignore the post because it's made simply to bump the thread.

Just keep checking back to see if your application has been responded to for further instructions.
