Welcome to the Northern Allies clan recruitment forum. We are a tight-knit, community clan that revolves around PvM and community activity. Whether you're a hardcore scaper who grinds ten hours a day, or a casual player who logs in to get his dailies done, you'll feel right at home in this humble clan that has existed since April of 2011. Our fellow clanmates currently strive for the highest of attainable goals in the game, such as max or completionist capes, so why not have reliable friends to help and accompany you on the road to comp as well? What makes us unique?


Most clans will tell you that they are unique because they have pro PvMers and fancy forum posts. But us, no, from long-time members who've been around as long as the clan itself, to our clan being globally ranked 4th in Rated Clan Wars, and even our members who wholeheartedly help each other without question.

We, as a clan, will always seek to strive for greater goals and to forever prosper together, and that is what makes us unique.

Please be aware that any forums in this section linked to us besides this one are outdated, hence the V5 in the title. Should a new forum author take over, a reply will be posted saying that this thread is outdated.

The Ten Tenets


I
All Jagex rules apply.

II
Should drama come up in the clan chat, keep it outside of the chat, we strive to maintain a peaceful, welcoming, and mature environment for all clan mates.

III
Be respectful in how you express your ideas. The removal of the language filter in-game allows players to better convey their thoughts and moods but please keep things in moderation.

IV
No form of bigotry will be tolerated within the clan. Any type of discrimination, whether racial, religious, gender or romantic orientation based discrimination will be dealt with harshly.

V
No asking for money or items. This is a clan, not a charity. Clan members will gladly give advice.

VI
No scamming other clan members. This includes luring, gambling and so on.

VII
Do not ask for ranks. We pay attention to everyone in the clan and if we feel someone deserves a rank up they will receive it.

VIII
The powers of an Administrator rank are restricted only to summoning the avatar, preventing spam, profanity, arguing, or scamming within the clan or towards other clan members. Any use of the administrative privileges beyond these guidelines will be responded to with harsh punishment. We will not tolerate power abuse.

IX
Every man is his own, and every woman, her own. What you decide to do as a member of the clan is entirely up to you. You do not have to cap at the citadel, nor participate in clan events if you do not wish to. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

X
The Clan Leader has the final say in any clan related decision. Their word is law.

Ranks


First of all, we believe in equality amongst our members, so your ranking in the clan plays no part in what you can and cannot do. (Besides in-game restrictions such as only admins can summon the avatar, etc.)

In our clan, your rank is mostly based on how you've contributed to the clan, as well as how long you have been a member of the clan. A long time, helpful player with a good attitude is bound to get noticed and move up in rank. In contrast, a player with a negative attitude who has never contributed anything helpful will likely stay as a recruit for a long time to come, if not get kicked for their behavior altogether.

In this way, the clan recognizes it's most esteemed members but does not give them unequal power over others. Beyond the guidelines of the Tenets , another person that has ranks above your cannot enforce their will unto you, unless you are participating in activities that require such. Beyond that, every man is his own, and every woman, her own. Should a ranked member try to force you to do something, or should you witness this happening to another clanmate in-game, please contact any Administrator+ rank as soon as possible, as we would like to keep any ranks from abusing the privileges they have.

What can you do to help speed things up?


Thoughtful discussion in clan chat.

Doing battle at Rated Clan Wars.

Attending and organizing events.

Encourage others to contribute.

Recruiting.

Bumping clan threads.

Capping at the Clan Citadel.

Events


Northern Allies often has events that spring up on an almost daily basis, namely bossing, minigames, skilling, or group play in activities such as D&D's or world events. Absolutely none of these events are mandatory in any form. However, if you wish to participate in the more coordinated variety of activities, access to the clan Discord server is required.

PvM


Bossing activities and others events of the sort are commonplace in any group, including this one. As far as bossing goes, we are actively shifting our focus to cover all bosses, as well as those to be released in the future.

Whilst we do focus towards the endgame in terms of group PvM activities, there are no official requirements aside from Discord access to participate in any group activity, these are determined by the formed group or their leader in question.

PvP


Once the focus of our esteemed group, we have now shifted our clan's focus toward a much broader spectrum of activities. However, PvP related activities are still held from time to time, these include safe and dangerous PvP activities, such as Castle Wars and Soul Wars, or Wilderness Warbands and WildyWyrm.

Be warned, participation in dangerous group activities does not mean we will guarantee your safety.

Misc. activites


We also enjoy grouping up for the less loved activities from time to time, such as Evil Tree, Demon Flash Mobs, and various World Events. As with other events, you are free to participate at your own accord.
