A: Yes. They're very similar to the rules drafted by our previous leadership team.
Q: Name one of our Clan Rules and explain why it should be followed.
A: 2 - Do not discuss sensitive and potentially divisive issues in the Clan Chat.
This rule strikes home for me. Back toward the beginning stages of Cursed Combatants (5 years ago), there was a huge divide in which about half (60 members or so) of the clan dipped out because of something that was said and interpreted in the wrong way. It was on an inherently sensitive subject, which led to a he said, she said, argument. Sadly, since the clan was still in its infant stages, no one from leadership was on to vouch for either side. To keep long stories short, this rule helps these kinds of things from happening. And while it's a bit restrictive of certain individuals "free speech" it is more security to make sure everyone has a nice, clean, fun game environment in which to enjoy themselves and make new friends with similar interests.

A: Of course, everyone I've met thus far seems very down-to-earth and eager to help out.
Q: Do you understand that if you do not follow our clan rules in addition to Jagex's rules, or become inactive, you will be removed from the clan?
A: Of course.
