I like spontaneous trips and rainy days and thunderstorms. I like empty bookstores and quiet dim restaurants. I like empty beaches at sunset and the mountains in Autumn. I like the crunch of snow underfoot on a bright moonlit night. I like the smell of the earth warming and greening up in Spring and flowers blooming. I like freshly washed sheets and warm old soft comforters. I like the feel of family and friends and laughter and food cooking in a packed house full of love. I like holding hands with someone who gives you a warm happy glow. I love small joys.
