Welcome To The World 22 Fishing Guild's Main Thread!

Mikeocslong is the new owner of W22 Fishing.
Alongside Mike's recent promotion to owner, there will be some changes to benefit the clan.

One of the changes we hope to make, is a newfound effort focused on recruitment. Recruitment of member enthusiastic on joining the rich history of W22 fishing.

Fishing was so paramount to us that world 22 was even named the official community fishing!(Check the world list)

Founded in late 2006, we are an older clan that has seen our veteran members drift away in search of new waters to fish.

We've housed hundreds of 99 fishers over the years.

Recruitment

Rank fast track

-1 recruit = 1 rank

-3 recruits= 2 ranks

-5 recruits= 3 ranks

This will work as incentive for those looking to improve their rank faster than normal in order to keep your ranks the new recruits must remain in the clan. This is also only good for ranks up to Captain.
I will keep track of this in one of my reserved posts and in order to get the ranks for your recruits both you and the new recruit must post here with this template:

Ranks

There are 3 forms of ranks.
1. Time in clan ranks: (Recruit-Captain) These are given out a certain milestones for the amount of time you have been part of the clan
2. Admin/Management level ranks: (Organizer, Overseer, Admin, Deputy owner)
3. Legend(Gold Star 'General' Rank): A special rank for members who fall somewhere between the first two ranks. A way to honor players who have been prominent and essential to the clan for a long time, but aren't necessarily needed as an Admin.
We respect them very much and they deserve the title of Legend.~

[=]Fishing Levels needed for ranks* [=]
+Corporal: 1 month in clan
+Sergeant : 3 months in clan
+Lieutenant : 6 months in clan
+Captain : 1 year + in clan

Admins and Legends are chosen during regular meetings held by the clan leadership, and awarded during our weekly or monthly community events. If you have come to a milestone in the clan and have not been awarded your rank please let me know so i can check my records and award said rank

Please do not ask for ranks. Ranks are reserved for those chosen to moderate the chat, not some sort of icon to flaunt. The Leadership is always keeping an eye out, looking for good candidates. Asking for a rank is the sure way to not get one!

(¸.´ (¸.*¨How to Apply to The W22 Fishing Guild Pre-Alumni

Keep in mind we are a Guild and not a clan. The key difference being you don't need to become a "member" to fish or chat with us. You are free to go about your lifestyle and be a part of our community at your whim.
However if you are driven to achieve 99 fishing with us we have a special list of fishers known as the "Pre-Alumni," or Future 99 fishers. When you are certain you desire this glorious achievement you may fill out an application for the Pre-Alumni ( Located below.) Once you've Signed up your name will be placed on our list found on page 2. As you continue to post your fishing level ups on the thread you'll have your fellow fishers and guild members cheering you on every step of the way to your future 99 achievement.
Keep in mind this is a Personal Commitment to yourself and the W22 Fishing Guild. We want to support you on your road to 99 fishing and hope you'll become a future Alumni member of our Guild.
If you get a name change please inform us within the thread so we can properly update your level in the future.
