Biography of Chopper Head (Paco**, Circa Jul 2009)

+Chopper Head is one of the most hot headed, inflamed, terrifying leader of the Roman Empire. He is the Prince of the Empire and is very close to assuming the right to the SPQR Roman Throne. Chopper Head is definitely not some one whom you would want to get angry, particularly during a war. Despite his harsh/mischievous ways, Chopper Head was one of the first to join the clan and one of the first to understand its true potential. For that, the Emperor and Empress adopted him as Prince of Rome.

+Before joining SPQR, Chopper was the leader of the Astral Roman Empire. When the offer for a join of the 2 clans, he immediately agreed and was given a very good position in the Senate. Along with being the Prince, Chopper is a total machine on the battlefield. He has not lead a war by himself yet, however, he has thought of many tactics that we use today for successful military campaigns.

+Eventually as time progressed, Chopper began to befriend many of our most active members, making his first steps towards the Throne excellent ones. As a Prince now, many would say he is very hot headed and demanding as any monarch should be however when he assumes the Throne there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a great Emperor and he will lead this clan just as the others did before him.

+Chopper's management skill at the moment is not the highest. Out of 10 stars he will probably get a 6 reason being is that he has very lightly skimmed over foreign policy. With this all being taught now by his peer's, the Emperor and the Empress, Chopper will soon receive the 10 star max and he hopes to have it done and learned completely by the time of his future coronation.

+Even though he is young, Chopper will never back down from any fight and will do his utmost to see Imperial Rome stand proudly under his watch. He is also a great and dear friend to all of us and I have no doubt that he will be a great

I'm Tank, and this is some of my history in SPQR...

Seven months ago when I joined SPQR, I was a newcomer to clannin*. Despite playing RuneScape for over three years, the clan game was very new to me. One of the reasons I joined SPQR was the fact I did*’t have to be online at a certain time. I saw SPQR as a fun environment where I could chat whilst skilling and explore exotic locations I couldn’t manage alone. I was also attracted by the Roman theme and the Academy Thread. Even so, I still has many questions, which the top brass were only too keen to help me with.

Previously, I had researched clans that took my fancy. One clan was the Imperial Runescape Empire. (This would come up in my early weeks as being hostile to Rome.) What I disliked about the clan was the fact there was no freedom. The Kaisers will was law, and I stopped considering the clan for that reason.

When I decided to take the plunge and join SPQR, things were very different in the clan. There were far more Generals. Ant, Cyrus, Dark, Hero, Wind, Honey, River, Witty and Gaius come to mind. Some former members had rejoined – King B and Banana. I enjoyed growing in the clan, and I liked the unique personalities I spoke with. (Some I disliked.) Ant was very helpful; he taught me a lot of how the clan worked. If I had any questions, I just needed to ask Ant. Wind and River seemed very mature for their age, and I respected them for it. Gaius, or Lamp as he was known then, was mature but easygoing, someone who was nice to talk to. He, along with newcomer Jw also filled the CC when everyone else was out. Hawk, a governor of The House of Scipii and I did*’t get off to a rosy start. Various appendages of mine have been metaphorically removed by her various weapons more times then I care to remember. Despite our disagreements about nearly everything, we managed to find a way to get along, and I now consider Hawk a close friend.

I began to take interest in joining a faction. Julii courted me but my in interests lay in Scipii. The problem was that Scipii seemed to be getting far too many members, so any new ones were being redirected to Brutii and Julii. Happily, I was allowed to join The House of Scipii.

Meanwhile, the clan was going through troubled times. An ally, The Roman Empire, had betrayed us. Whilst the top brass were dealing with this threat, I was accused of treason by banana, a confused and disgruntled player. Ant, King B and others came to my defence, and Banana was kicked out of the clan.

He, Mordoug and Paladin quickly created The French Empire, and war was declared between us.

I enjoyed going to Senate meetings, and my first Gladiator Games was a rewarding experience. I reached round 3, but I had to withdraw for personal reasons.

When I reached 100 combat, I was eligible to join the Praetorian Guards. One event that stands out in my mind was when Cyrus and Ant were training us in ceremonial and senatorial maneuvers. We were assigned to protect Ant, and Cyrus burst through the doors, proclaimed his takeover of Rome and demanded Ant to kneel before him.

Soon, the threats from T.R.E, T.F.E and I.R.E were extinguished. Dark and I got into an argument over something very trivial. Dark got angry with me, and I was kick-threatened. That certainly told me a lot about Dark, and he and I aren’t the closest of friends. Dark left, and I was appointed to his position of Praetorian Prefect. I held the post for about 4 days, in which time I attempted to reform the guards. I resigned due to the fact I could not play for some time.

My rise through the ranks had been swift. Corporal after a fortnight, then Lieutenant when I joined the Guards. When I was made Prefect I got Captain. I felt that I had risen too fast. I asked Cyrus for a demotion.

SPQR, at the time was fat with Generals and Captains not earning their keep. Ranks were being handed out as rewards instead of responsibilities. The fat was cut out by reforms executed by Ant and Cyrus. It may be tough, but a good leader recognizes the fact that nothing will stay as is. SPQR was strong, but problems would have arisen when we waned in power. Cyrus is a good leader, and he accounted for that.

For about three months, I was rarely on. I kept my bronze star, and on January 16 I was elected to a Senate Spot. Ant had taken over from Cyrus. Soon after, Cyrus returned and took position as head again. I was off again for a fortnight.

A fortnight or so after I became active again, Ant quit. Wind, River, Paco, King B and Austie left too. Ant created the Imperial Roman Empire. That nearly ripped us apart. It brought out the best and worst in Cyrus, and if ever my loyalty to SPQR was tested, it was then. I was ashamed by the actions of some of SPQR, during which time Misty and Hawk left.

One of the few faults Cyrus has is he is quick to anger. (A trait he shares with Dark and Banana.) He misinterprets actions as threats to himself and his leadership at times. These qualities are not good for a leader. His redemption comes from the fact he apologizes. Cyrus realizes his mistakes and reverses them. That quality helps him to be the great leader he is, and happily the I.R.E. are now our allies.

I was elected to the position of Consul in the senate, joining JW, Mayo, Angus, Witty, Gen Caesar and Honey. Currently I hold the position of Consul, caretaker Head of Scipii House and I am a Silver Star Captain.

I am proud of being Scipii. It has helped me by giving me somewhere to belong. Inter-house rivalry in Gladiator games is very fun, and I treasure the factions. They don’t do much except raise morale at the moment, and for me, that is enough.

Thread moved to the Clan Home Forum, which is a much better place for housing historical clan data than the General discussion Forum.


Edit: Although, as you are a member of a different clan than the one you are posting for here, I'm not sure you have permission from this clan to be posting their historical information.
