Contrary to popular belief, alcohol does not kill brain cells. It can however, damage the ends of neurons, which are known as dendrites. This can result in problems with the action potential traveling along the axon to convey messages to other neurons.
Me? Well, I don't always drink, but when I do, it's usually a glass of white wine.
